Obituary for Maxwell Badcock
BADCOCK, Maxwell William – Teacher of 30 years, retired from Queen Elizabeth High School, Foxtrap, passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, Miller Center, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, September 22, 2017. Max Badcock age 73 years, predeceased by his parents: William and Jan Badcock of Broad Cove; parents-in-law: Jim and Edith King of Carbonear; and brother-in-law: Rick King of Carbonear. Leaving to mourn with treasured memories his devoted wife of 46 years Helen (nee King); his sons: Jim (Denise) and Mark (Lisa); grandchildren whom Max dearly loved: Travis, Tyler and Maggie; sister: Valerie (Fred) Langer of Carbonear; sister-in-law: Pauline King of Carbonear; Brother-in-Laws Cyril King ( Vivian ) of Buchans and Derek King of Buchans; Aunts Maxine (Ernie) Lockyer of Dildo and Edna Griffith of N.B.; and extended family and friends. The Badcock family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Pauline King, Carmel, Regina, and also Rosemore Home Care for their compassion and care for Max. At Max’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave, Mt. Pearl on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 7-9pm .
