Obituary for Maxine Aletha Houston (Watts)
It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce to our family and friends, the passing of Maxine Aletha Houston (née Watts) of Brussels. Maxine passed suddenly on Monday, November 6, 2017, in her 61st year.
Beloved wife of Murray Houston for 37 years. Loving mother of Jillian & Chris Csöff and Darryl & Jodi Houston. Cherished Grandma of Emmett and Eli. Dear daughter of Barbara Watts (née Benson) and the late Max Watts (July 9, 2017). Loved sister of Stephanie & Murray Kellington, David & Chris Watts, Trina & Brad McBride, Darrin Watts, and Ruth Ann & Kim Schroeder. Sister-in-law of Robert & Linda Houston, Glenna Houston, and Janice & Gord Carnochan. Dear niece of Stephen & Judy Watts and Jean MacKinnon. Loving Aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her father Max, parents-in-law Lois and Rae Houston, and her sister-in-law Brenda Mathers and her husband Dennis.
Cremation has taken place and private graveside service will be held. A public memorial visitation to celebrate Maxine’s life will be held at the Brussels, Morris & Grey Community Centre, 800 Sports Drive, Brussels, on Saturday, November 11, 2017, from 2 – 5 p.m. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.
