1960-2017
Maurice Collette, 57, of Girouardville, passed away accidently,
Saturday in Bouctouche. He was married to Maria (Savoie) Collette.
Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of Antoine and Donalda (Collette)
Collette.
Maurice was a Public Work Supervisor for the town of Bouctouche for 17
years. He was involved in most of the town activities and was always
there to help out.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Maria, his son Martin of Moncton
and his parents Antoine and Donalda Collette of Girouardville. He
also leaves to mourn his five siblings; Louise Richard (Ronald),
Nicole Collette, Joe (Denise), Marcel (Louise), Michel (Debbie) all of
Girouardville, one sister-in-law; Pauline Hébert (Paul) of
Bouctouche and several nephews and nieces and cousins.
He was predeceased by one daughter Marie-Josée (1992).
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday December 6, 2017 from 7
to 9 and on Thursday from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be
celebrated at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church on
Thursday December 7, 2017 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish
cemetery.
In Maurice’s memory, donations may be made to the family.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
