Death Notice
It is with broken hearts that the family announces the passing of Matthew William Moran on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at the age of 34. Cherished son of Annette (Bob) Docherty and the late Steve Moran (2014). Loved brother of Beth Moran, David Docherty and Christopher Docherty. Survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Missed by his constant companion, his dog Cody. Matthew, a carpenter, was a member of Local 1256. He was a good-hearted friend, fun-loving and a talented musician who loved camping and was a mentor to many. Matthew was happiest around a campfire playing his guitar. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Saturday, November 11, 2017, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a celebration of life service following. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) or the Deker Bauer Foundation www.dekerbauerfoundation.com (cheques only at the funeral home please).

Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, November 11, 2017, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Service
Celebration of life service will follow the visitation at 8:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
