Obituary of Mary Klassen
Klassen, Mary – On November 17, 2017, God graciously called Mary Klassen home to be with her Lord. She was surrounded by her family, and cared for with compassion & love by the staff at the St.Catharines General Hospital. Loving & deeply cherished wife of John Klassen for over 62 years and loving & cherished mom of John (Cathy) Klassen, Luise (Helmut) Wohlgemut, Eleanor (Gerhard) Siemens, David (Cynthia) Klassen. Loving Oma of Brian (Karla), Danielle (Gary), Kelly Andrew (deceased), Kendra, Aidan & Calum and also 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 siblings in Harbin, China, 1 sister in Winnipeg. She is survived by 2 sisters, Sara Walde; Liese (Ernie) Fast and sister-in-law Anna Klassen and numerous nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 19, 2:30-4:30p.m. at Scott St. Mennonite Brethren Church, 339 Scott St., St.Catharines. Funeral Service in the church on Tuesday, November 21 at 11:00a.m. preceded by interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to tabormanor.net or campcrossroads.com would be appreciated by the family.
