Obituary of Mary Mitchell
Passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at North York General Hospital at the age of 88. Predeceased by her loving husband of 41 years, William. Beloved mother of Stephen and Gordon (Deanne). Cherished grandmother of Larissa and Emily. Dear sister of the late Lucie (John) Bourke, Marguerite (Guy) McDaniel, Rosie Overton, Charles (Jean) Doran, the late Peter Doran, and Egerton (Jackie) Doran. Mary will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mary was born in Kingston , Jamaica and immigrated to Toronto in 1954. She was a long-time employee of the Anglican Diocese of Toronto and was a dedicated member of Church of the Incarnation. She had a kind and charitable heart and was an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Church of the Incarnation (15 Clairtrell Rd.). Interment York Cemetery . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice
