1925-2017
It is with great sadness that the
family announces the passing of Mary Ward, wife of the late Harper
Ward, of Millhaven Court and formerly of Middle River, which occurred
at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst on Thursday, August 31,
2017 at the age of 92.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter
of the late Herbert and May (Keith)
Jones.
She is survived by
five daughters, Marjorie (Elzear) Aube,
Joyce (Lorenzo) Aube, Shirley (Levis) Aube,
Linda Ward
all of Middle River and Gloria
(Sonny) Jones of Big River.
Three sons, Art (Gail), Gary and Duncan
(Caroline) all of Middle
River.
Sixteen grandchildren:
Steven, Terry, Bryan, Natalie, Shanna, Jennifer, Debbie, Suzanne,
Margaret, Aaron, Britney, Chris, James, Natasha, Travis and
Courtney.
Seven great grandchildren and five
great-great grandchildren.
Several nieces and
nephews.
She was predeceased by a son David and
a daughter Marjorie, brothers, Charlie, Earl, Frank, Irvin, Raymond,
George, Elmer, Fred and sisters, Annie and
Minnie.
The family would like to thank Mary’s
caregiver, Sylvie Cormier also the staff and doctors for their good
care at the Chaleur Regional
Hospital.
There will be no visitation at the
funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday
morning, September 5, 2017 at 11 am from First United Church, St.
Patrick St. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the
Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
