Mary Joan McAnany
1918-2017
Mary Joan Mcanany passed away peacefully at Villa Providence,
Shediac, in her 99th year on Saturday, February
25, 2017. Survived by son, Michael (Theresa) of Cornwall, Ontario;
grandchildren, Andrew (Sara) and Paul (Steve) of Ottawa, ON, Sarah
(Ron) of Monkland, ON and Erin (Eric) of Toronto, ON. Great
Grandmother to Mary and Jane McAnany. Also survived by one sister,
Margaret Ford, of Los Angeles, California and numerous
nieces and nephews.
Pre-deceased by parents, William Joseph Paquet and Angelina
(Pitre); sisters, Theresa, Gail, Marie, Frances, Bernadette, Gertrude
and Edna; brothers Alban, Billy and Clarence and husband Paul
McAnany.
Longtime member of the Catholic Women’s League and
retired employee of RCAF # 5 SD Moncton. Mar
Resting at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Funeral Mass to be held at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic
Church, 340 Dominion St., on Saturday, March
4th, 2017 at 11:00 am with Rev. Allison Carroll
officiating. Reception in the Parish Hall following
Mass.
