Mary Jean Turner
TURNER, Mary Jean “Jeannie” (nee Elvins)
January 11, 1941 – November 15, 2017
Jeannie passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital after a brave fight with cancer and COPD. She had loving family at her bedside, husband Rod, sons Blaine (Marla) and Chad, Granddaughter Jade and family, her sister Marg, brother Ted and nephew Scott. Jeannie leaves behind her loving husband Rod, loving sons Blaine (Marla), Chad. Cherished grandmother to Jade, Logan and her step-grandchild Jarrod. She will be forever remembered by her friends in Belleville, Kingston, and specifically close friends at Kingston Navy Vet’s and Elginburg Ladies Fitness. Following Jeannie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Jeannie will be laid to rest at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Life will take place at Kingston Navy Vet’s, 1138 Sydenham Road, Kingston ON from 3pm to 6pm on December 1, 2017. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Lung Cancer Canada or Kingston Navy Vet’s.
