Following a period of declining health, Mary-Jean Stark of
Perth-Andover, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph
Hospital on October 23, 2017.
Mary-Jean was born in Arthurette, NB, on January 23, 1939. She was the
daughter of the late Charles and Jennifer (Campbell) Armstrong.
Mary-Jean leaves behind her children, Heather Stark (George Jeanneau)
of Lac-Baker, NB, John Stark (Christina) of Sparta, NJ; her
grandchildren, Connor and Amelie; her great grandchildren, Laura and
Mateo; her sisters, Joanne Campbell of Burlington, ON, Dawn Powell of
Hamilton, ON, Wendy Tomlinson (Morris) of Moncton, NB, Rosalie Calder
of Moncton, NB, Betty Smith of Perth-Andover, NB; her brothers, Cecil
Campbell of Arthurette, NB, Rick Campbell of Ontario, Wally Campbell
(Parine) of Toronto, ON.
Mary-Jean was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Joseph Stark;
her sister, Madeline Campbell; brothers, John Campbell, Roland
“Rick” Campbell, and Leo Campbell-Armstrong.
Mary-Jean worked as a librarian for many years prior to her
retirement. She was a member of the “Lunch Bunch”.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Thursday 1-3 pm.
Respecting Mary-Jean’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service
held.
For those who wish, memorial donations to your local animal shelter
would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover.
