Obituary for Mary Evelyn Reid (Tinney)
REID, MARY EVELYN – Peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Marmora, on Saturday, November 4th, 2017 at the age of 87. Daughter of the late James & Lillian Tinney and wife of the late Cecil Thomas Reid. Loving mother of the late Joan Reid, Rosemary Riley(late Ron) of Smiths Falls, Margaret Tinney, Dawson Reid, and Phillip Reid, all of Belleville, Edna Tinney(Ross) of Marmora, Roger Reid of Napanee, Marlene Allen(Bob), Bonnie Reid and Carol Dingman(late Scott) all of Belleville, Sharon Casselman(Richard) of Bayside and Karen Herrington(Bob) of Scarborough. Predeceased by her brothers Edwin, Arthur, Richard and Clarence. Lovingly cared for by her granddaughter Judy Smith and fondly remembered by all of her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Reid is resting at the Stirling Funeral Chapel, 87 James Street, Stirling (613-395-2424) on Thursday, November 9th from 6-9 p.m. and on Friday from 11-1 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday, November 10th, 2017 at 1 p.m. Interment Luke’s Cemetery.
