Mary Carolyn Thompson
Carolyn Thompson, 71, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at
The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, November 23, 2017.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and
Susanne (Robichaud) Lucy. Carolyn retired with Transport Canada. She
enjoyed sewing, tending her flower beds, cooking and entertaining with
her many friends, who affectionately called her “Double Batch
Carolyn”.
Carolyn will be sadly missed by her husband of 46 years,
Wayne Thompson; son, Derek (Alnera Houseynova) of Calgary, AB; two
precious grandchildren, Rowan and Sybelle; sisters, Cathy LeClair
(Raymond), Pearl Lucy and Patricia Kimball; brother, John Lucy
(Gerry); sister-in-law, Shirley Alexander (Gus) and brother-in-law,
Peter Buck; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by
brother-in-law, Keith Kimball and sister-in-law, Linda
Buck.
A time of celebration for Carolyn’s life will be
held Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at 933 Mapleton
Road, Moncton.
Arrangements entrusted to the professional care of Fergusons
Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995).
In memory of Carolyn, donations to the Canadian Cancer
