Mary Ann Anthony (nee Raymond) passed away peacefully on Saturday July 1, 2017 in her 98th year. Mary is predeceased by her husband Herbert, sons David, Alan and Leonard. Mary is survived by her sisters Angela, Carrie, Madeline and her brothers Tony and Lar. Children Patricia Urie, Paul and wife Cindy, Debra and husband Bill Versluis. She was dearly loved by grandchildren Robert, Jennifer, Richard, Melissa, Thomas, Robin, Eric, MaryAnn, Carie and ten great great grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend their warmest thanks and gratitude to the “Sunrise Girls” who supported the family and gave their loving care. Thanks also to Dr. David Barker, Father Keith Callaghan and Walter Abela for taking such good care of mom’s physical and spiritual well being. Special thanks to Martin and Joan Goverde who always kept a loving eye on our mother. We place our dear mother in God’s hands knowing she is now at peace.
Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Tuesday July 4th from 4-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday July 5th at 10 am. Cremation to follow.
