Marty Ernest Peter Croucher

Croucher, Marty Ernest Peter
November 8, 1973 – April 4, 2017
Marty Ernest Peter Croucher passed away suddenly in Calgary, AB on April 4, 2017 at the age of 43. Marty was the son of Carolyn Colbourne and Ernest Croucher (deceased); brother of Wendy and Tina; and father of Deanna, Martina and Jennifer.
We are saddened by the sudden and tragic death of Marty. He was an amazing human being, and was loved by everyone he met. He was a charismatic, sensitive, intelligent man who loved to hug and made us all laugh often with his witty stories and charm. Marty also had a passion for cooking, which he often shared with family and friends.
We would like to thank Choice Memorial for their sensitivity during this very emotional time and the many condolences we have received from family and friends. A visitation and candlelight vigil are being planned. Details will be updated once confirmed. A memorial service will be held in South Brook, NL at a later date.

God looked around His garden and found an empty place
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful.
He always takes the best.
He knows you were suffering
He knows you were in pain
He knows you would not get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered “peace be thine!”
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone.
For part of us went with you
When God called you home.
