MARTIN, Irven Albert – of Belleville, entered into rest peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday May 20th, 2017 in his 75th year. Dear son of the late James & Sabina Martin. Beloved husband of Nancy Anne Duguay (nee Miller) & the late Betty Martin. Cherished father of Richard Martin (Spencer Harrison) of Toronto and Sean Martin (Tara Kelly) of Smiths Falls. Dear step father of Steven Duguay of Ottawa, Aaron Duguay (Becky) of Kingston and Rachel Duguay (Chad) of Petewawa. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Cassidy and Kiersten Martin, Christopher, Novah, Draven, Avah Duguay and Josiah Newman. Irven will be missed by his siblings; Jack Martin (late Lorraine), Gary Martin (Marion) and Don Martin (Nancy). Predeceased by brothers; Harvey and Ralph Martin. Also lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Linda Martin. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville (613-968-2273) on Monday May 29th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation prior from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Rev. David Brotherton officiating. Interment Albury Cemetery. If desired, donations to the UCDAVIS Mind Institute or the Fragile X Research Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
