Obituary for Martin Albert Lavictoire
Lavictoire, Martin Albert;
Born July 8, 1963, Martin died suddenly on December 20, 2017 at his home in Earlton, Ontario. Martin is the son of George Lavictoire and the late Laurette Leveille. He leaves behind his life partner Lesha Laronde and step son Kiiwedin, his two children Luke Lavictoire and Angela Lavictoire of Ottawa, two brothers: Michel Lavictoire (Adeline) and Patrick Lavictoire (Nicole) of Earlton, and his sister Line Dénommé (Marcel) of Ottawa.
Martin was the office manager at Nor Arc Automotive in Earlton, and was the best mechanic around. He lived the majority of his life in the place he called home, Earlton. He was wild, crazy and fun and enjoyed all parts of life, from drag racing leaving you at the lights, to fishing on beautiful lakes, to riding his snow machine on the club echo trails to cruising in the bush with his bike. He was an Arctic Cat man all the way, and his life was cut too short because apparently, a real mechanic was required. Our mechanic angel is now looking down shaking his head at all this fuss because he left with a bang and not a whimper, and he would not have done it in any other way.
Honouring his life will begin Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 am at Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church at 31, 10th Street, East. Earlton. Funeral mass would follow at 11:00 am, Sunday, December 24, 2017 from Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church. Father Germain Turcotte will officiate. Luncheon to follow in the basement of the church. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged. Condolences, contributions and memorial candles may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
