Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear Long Term Care Facility on Friday, December 2, 2016, Martha Doyle of Gull Island, age 78 years. Predeceased by parents: Edward and Emma Oliver; sisters: Bernadette, Madeline, Mary, and Marg; brothers: Gusie, ‘Big’ Will, Henry, and John. Leaving to mourn, husband: Leo; four daughters: Louise (Eddy) Power, Lower Island Cove, Eileen (Gerard) Howell, Northern Bay, Annie (D’arcy) Broderick, Torbay and Maureen (Robert) Williams, Goulds; three sons: Jerome Oliver, Alberta, Albeus (Julie) Doyle, Bay de Verde and Leo Doyle, Gull Island; fourteen grandchildren: Tiffany (Kevin), Lee, Emily, Jason (Amanda), Cindy (Willie), Adam (Rhonda), Nadine (Greg), Mandy, Emma, Caitlyn, William, Aaron, Alex, and Taylor; eleven great-grandchildren: Grace, Abigale, Liana, Allegra, Gavin, Daniel, Ethan, Jared, Riley, Jake, and Aubree; two brothers: Neddie (Pauline) Oliver, Gull Island and Leo (Darlene) Oliver, Alberta; one sister: Winnie (Peter) Hogan, Gull Island; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Sunday, 2:30 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, December 6 at 11:00 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Northern Bay. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 70, Northern Bay, NL, A0A 3B0.
