De PAUW, Martha Mary Rosa (nee Vandendriessche) 1925-2017 – surrounded by her loving family at the Delhi Long Term Care Home on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 in her 92nd year. Born in Roselaere, Belguim on July 2nd, 1925, Martha came to Canada in August of 1925, daughter of the late Julius & Juliana Vandendriessche. Beloved wife of the late Roger DePauw (2013). Loving mother & grandmother of Roger De Pauw Jr. of London, his children Bobbi-Jo & Bradley; Raymond DePauw (Liz) of Windham Centre, their children Paul (Jill), son Lucas; Laura Ghesquiere (Steven), children Quinten & Marek; Leanne Millsap (Brett), daughter Avery; and Gary De Pauw (Shirley) of Simcoe, their daughters Kayla & Dana. Martha will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews & extended family. Predeceased by her siblings Leona Handsaeme (Andrew), Michel (Godelieve), Maurice (Leah), Omer (Margaret) & Palmer Vandendriessche. Friends are invited to share their memories of Martha with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, March 10th, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be said Friday evening at 6:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church, Waterford on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Al Dufraimont as celebrant. Rite of Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford. Those wishing to donate in memory of Martha are asked to consider the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church or the Delhi Long Term Care Home.
