The family of Marlene Wright are sad to announce her passing at Hospice Wellington on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in her 76th year.
She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard Wright (2010), and together they had 3 children, Sue, Mark, and Debbie. Cherished grandmother to Heather, Titania, Breanna, Tommy, Jeana, Jesse, and Michael. Great grandmother to Emily, Darren, Josh, Nicole, Leah, Carter, Zack, Kennedy, and Nathaniel.
Sister to Marion and Lorne, and through them she became an Aunt to 3.
Her life was devoted to her family and helping others. This gave her great joy to make others happy, she always served others. She was full of compassion and had a great talent for the culinary arts. She was an amazing chef for most of her life and some would say no one did it like her. She lived for her family and served all that came into her life in the way of delicious food. , a warm personality and a smile. Very hardworking all of her life, this was a very strong woman. After a battle with cancer, in her final days, Marlene knows she was loved deeply by the amount of support and loved ones who came to visit her. She left an impression on all she came across in her live in such a positive way.
She will be forever missed but definitely not forgotten.
Marlene’s family thanks you for your condolences and will be having a celebration of life in her memory in the spring.
