It is with great sadness that the family of Mark Malone Hawkings announce his passing on Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 in Calgary, Alberta. He was born on January 13th, 1995 in Red Deer and was the youngest of three children. Mark grew up on a farm in the Forshee Valley and attended grade school in both Bentley and Rimbey. At the time of his passing he was attending the University of Calgary, studying Economics. Mark’s smile and energy were infectious, and he brightened every crowd with his wonderful storytelling. He touched many hearts and was loved by so many friends and family members.
Mark is survived by his maternal grandmother Joan Malone, parents Jack and Janet,older sister Amy, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Helen and Duke Hawkings, maternal grandfather Bud Malone, and an infant sister Lindy.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00pm on June 8th, 2017 at the Woody Nook Christian Reformed Church.
