The death of Mark Arthur
Evans, age 58, husband of Angela (Boyce) Evans of
Hatfield Point, NB, occurred by accident on Sunday, January 15, 2017.
He was born in Saint John, NB, the son of the late Roy and Elizabeth
(Akerley) Evans.
Mark is survived by his wife Angie; daughters
Stephanie (Peter) Evans and Rebecca (David) Evans; sons Richard
(Mandy) Evans and Nathan Evans; step-sons Joey Lapointe (Joelle) and
Niko Lapointe; grandchildren Campbell, Malcolm, Olivia, Bailee, Burke
and Darcy; brothers and sisters Frank (Jo-Anne) Evans; Joanne Curran,
Philip (Susan) Evans, Ellen (Ian) Ruddick, Julie (Dave) Coyle and
Darin (Yvonne) Evans; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was
predeceased by his sister Virginia Evans.
Mark was truly loved by all who knew him. Family
and friends meant everything to him. Mark had a big heart and helped
anyone with anything, as he was a jack of all trades. He loved music
and was a beautiful singer and guitar player. He should have been the
5th Beatle. Mark loved and played hockey all
his life. Chicago was his team and Alpine was his beer. He was always
up for a good party and loved his summers on the Belleisle Bay. Mark
will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Visitation will take place at
Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre
(506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, on Friday, January 20,
2017, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral Service conducted by
Archdeacon Rob Marsh, will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel at
11:00 am on Saturday, January 21, 2017. A private interment will take
place later in Ocean View Memorial
Gardens.
Donations in memory of Mark may be made to CNIB
New Brunswick or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
