Mark Andrew Dakin, of Welland passed away suddenly in Welland as the result of a car accident, on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016, at the age of 39 years. Cherished son of Cecil and Ruth Dakin, of Owen Sound. Dearly loved fiancé of Jennifer Schaubel, of Fort Erie. Loving brother of Gordon Dakin, of Owen Sound and Lisa Cox (Doug), of Nova Scotia. Much loved grandson of Norma Palmer, of Scarborough. Mark will be sadly missed by his niece, Lilly Cox; his nephew, Cayden Cox; his aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his grandparents, Fred Palmer and Fred and Ruby Dakin.
A Celebration of Life for Mark Dakin will be held at the Salvation Army Community Church, 365 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, December 14th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Major David Kennedy officiating. Visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the KIOS (Kids in Owen Sound) or YFC (Youth for Christ / Youth Unlimited) as an expression of sympathy and may be made through the BRIAN E.
