Obituary of Marjorie Richards
RICHARDS, Marjorie P. -93, of Pictou, passed away at Ivey’s Terrace, Trenton on December 3, 2017 with her family, Deb and her Ivy Terrace family with her. Born in Windsor, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late Vance & Nellie Harvey. Marjorie is survived by six daughters, Judi (Dan MacKenzie), Sharon (George Cheverie), Betty, Dianne (Charlie Eastman), Patricia, Heather (Edward Gratto); two sons, Frank (Evelyn) and Michael; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and her sister, Shirley Rushton. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Frank; son, John; grandson, Christopher; brothers, Doug and Herman. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at her request. A service will be held 3:00 PM Thursday from McLaren Funeral Home Chapel, Pictou, with Michael Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Seaview Cemetery. No flowers please, donations in her memory may be made to the Ivey’s Terrace, Trenton. www.mclarenfuneral.ca
