Marjorie Rose Vriesendorp
1942-2017
Marjorie R. Vriesendorp, 74 , of Moncton, NB;
passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital Heart Clinic, on Tuesday,
June 13, 2017. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late
Ken and Della (Murray) MacKay.
Marjorie was employed with ComCare for a number of years and
truly enjoyed her clients. Marjorie resided in People Park
Tower where she made many friends. She enjoyed Musicals, her favorite
was always The Sound of Music. She also enjoyed
doing puzzles and knitting for her friends and family. They
were always happy to receive her gifts. Most of all she
enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her loving children
Dr. Kimberly (Mac) Miller of New Mexico, Janet (Lenny) Milne
of Winnipeg, Kevin (Janice) Vriesendorp of Paradise, Nfld., Dwayne
(Sherri) Vriesendorp of Riverview and Darcy (Caroline) Billings of
Moncton; her adoring grandchildren Kylah, Riki Lynn, Jacob, Ian, Amy,
Coleton, Brendon, Adam, Chad, Cassandra and Reese; her much loved
siblings Kenny (Phyllis) MacKay and Peggy Lerette all of ON., Karen
(David) Fisher of Moncton, Judy (Don) Comack of Winnipeg, Darryl
(Pasty) MacKay, Brian (Louise) MacKay and Danny MacKay all of Moncton
and by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended
family.
Besides her parents she was
predeceased by her son Stephen Vriesendorp, her husband
George Billings and by sisters Isabelle MacKay and Linda
LeBlanc.
As cremation has taken
place, a celebration of life will be held at Tuttle
Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 214 Pine
Glen Rd. Riverview on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11 am with
Dr. Laurel Buckingham officiating.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton, NB
Donations in Marjorie’s memory made to the
Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer or Autism
Society would be appreciated by her family.
