Obituary of Marion McFadden/Brooks
McFadden/Brooks, Marion (Butler) passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Friday, June 9, 2017 at the age of 93. Born in Dawn Township, Daughter of the late Clarence and Laurena Butler. Beloved wife of the late Gerald McFadden (1966) and the late James Brooks (1975). Loving mother of Janice Levitt (Tom), Kathleen Shore (Jim), Elaine Browning (Tom), Karen Brown (Doug) and Marjorie Erickson (Brian). Cherished Grandma of Steven, Debbie, Mike, Jennifer, Kelly, Nicole, Carrie, Rod, Scott, Terrie, Melissa, Kristie and Darcy. As well as 24 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. Missed by the children of Jim Brooks: Shirley; Morris; Ken; and Kathy. Greatly missed by brother-in-law Ken McFadden (Mary) and sister-in-law Donna McFadden. Predeceased by brother Guildford Butler, sister Jean Butler, sisters-in-law Lois Butler, Margaret McFadden, Leanore Coleman and brothers-in-law Lorne McFadden and Garnet Coleman. Lovingly missed by longtime friend Norma Wright and neighbour Jannette Snobelen. Marion whom was loved and cherished by all has left us but her memory will remain in our hearts until we meet again. The McFadden / Brooks family will receive family and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Tuesday from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. Internment in Dresden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dresden Community Church or Chatham-Kent Hospice. Online donations and condolences may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com.
