Marion Pearl Zimmerman was born on March 14th, 1921, in Sedgewick, Alberta. Her father’s name was Harold Miller and her mother was Bertha Emerson. Marion’s oldest brother was Art, then came Marion, next in line was Roy and twelve years later twin boys Lloyd and Floyd were born. In her teens Marion lived in the Okanagan and was a nanny for a Doctor’s family. She moved to Vancouver in 1940 and met her future husband, a tall handsome man named Walter.
