Marion MayPresho – 2017

On April 4, 2017, Marion May Presho of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years. She was born on March 5, 1925 in Red Deer, AB.
Marion is survived by her sister, Bertha (Presho) Chugg; two nephews; five nieces; twenty-one great-nephews and great-nieces; twenty one great-great-nieces and nephews; and three great-great-great-nieces. Predeceased by parents, Robert Oscar Presho and Lilian (Gorrill) Presho; sister, Ethel (Robert) McDonald; brother, George (Joan) Presho; and brother-in-law, Elmer Chugg.
Marion was a hairdresser by trade and enjoyed her years working in her own salon, called the Alaska Beauty Shop. She loved her numerous nieces and nephews and was so loved by them as well. She will be sadly missed by her beloved Church family at Pilgrim United Church.
We would like to express our gratitude to the doctors and staff of Unit 19 at the Sturgeon Community Hospital for their exceptional care.
Memorial Service Saturday, April 8 at 12:30 p.m. at Pilgrim United Church, 9008 – 135 Avenue with Reverend David Wasyk officiating. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Pilgrim United Church Memorial Fund, 9008 – 135 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5E 1N4.
