1937-2017
Marilyn Crossman of Riverview passed away at The Moncton
Hospital on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. Born in Moncton, she was the
daughter of the late Henry and Marguerite (Steeves)
Cripps.
Marilyn worked in her home as a hairdresser and was formerly
employed with Karnes Kitchen. She attended Emmanuel Baptist Church and
enjoyed knitting, sewing in her leisure time. She will be fondly
remembered for her deep love and passion for music and
baking.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Ray;
daughters, Deborah Bell (Stephen) of Halifax, Lynn Hebert of Moncton
and Shawnda Pauley (Sean) of Riverview; sons, Darren (Michele), Dana,
and Lindsay (Shawn) all of Riverview; grandchildren, Matthew,
Christopher, Ashley, Aaron, Tyler, Tiffany, Brittany, Michael,
Brandon, Justin, and Dakota; her twelve great-grandchildren; sisters,
Noreen McQuinn (Everett) of Riverview, Judy Whitney (W. Hunter) of
Texas, Charlene Brewer of Moncton; a brother, Kenneth Cripps of
Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents,
she was predeceased by a son, Darcy, a brother, Robert, and a
grandson, Nicholas.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007) on Friday from 2 – 4 & 6
– 8pm. A funeral service will take place from
Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Saturday, April 1,
2017 at 1:00pm with Rev. Payne officiating. The interment will take
place in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Donations can be in
Marilyn’s memory to a memorial of the donor’s
