1942-2017
Marilyn Faye Johnston, of Moncton,
NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital, on Monday,
July 31, 2017. Born in Hopewell Cape, she was a daughter of
the late Benoit and Mavis (Fownes)
Niles.
Marilyn was an avid gardener, enjoyed
fish ponds, interior decorating and do-it-yourself projects such as
building, painting, sewing and landscaping. She also enjoyed spending
time observing wildlife and kept many clippings and photographs of
local sightings. She loved the outdoors and all her pets. She is loved
and deeply missed.
Survived by
daughter Kelly Johnston of Moncton; four sons: Daniel, Michael,
Timothy and Patrick Johnston all of Moncton; sisters, Susan Richardson
(Thomas) of Riverview and Carol MacIntyre of
London Ont.;
three grandchildren; one step grand-daughter; one
great grand-son and several neices and
nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was
predeceased by her husband Robert in 2011, brother, Darryl Niles and
cousin Sharon.
By personal request there will be no visitation
or funeral service held.
Donations in Marilyn’s memory made to
the Moncton SPCA or to the Magnetic Hill Zoo would be appreciated by
the family.
