Marilyn Elizabeth McHallam - September 28th

Marilyn Elizabeth McHallam – September 28th, 2017

September 28th, 2017
Marilyn passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 74. Although she was battling cancer, she remained positive, strong, determined, and a fighter. She is survived by her son, and four daughters, 12 grand-children, 10 great grand-children, 2 brothers, sister, and many friends and relatives. She is predeceased by her young son and husband, Robert. Marilyn was retired from the Federal Government and spent her time on their farm where they raised Davenport Arabian Horses. Her goal was preservation for future generations, and to encourage others to continue her passion for the Bedouin tribes of the Desert Arabia. Her knowledge and passion will be missed, but her goals were achieved and her preservation lines live on through other members of her Al Khamsa Group. Marilyn had requested that we not have a service for her and celebrate her life with our own happy thoughts of her. In lieu of flowers and cards, we ask that friends and family donate to the Vernon Hospice House (3506 27th Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 1S4), where she was spoiled and well taken care of. We thank the staff with all our hearts.
Shine on Mom, you will always be in our heart and dearly missed.
Mother,
God sent the bird and sunshine
To gladden all the world
He sent the foliage and flowers
In radiance unfurled
He sent the June, the stars, the moon
The pearly dew-drops sweet
And then He send you, Mother dear,
To make it all complete.
