Obituary of MARIE MICHELE MONIQUE DAVIS
MARIE MICHELE MONIQUE DAVIS
(NEMORIN)
1947 – 2017
The family regrets to announce the passing of Monique on December 9, 2017 at St. Boniface Hospital, after a long illness, and are trying to console ourselves with the thought that she is no longer suffering in this life.
Monique was born in Mauritius and met her husband Martin in the UK when she was a student nurse and he was a resident doctor. They then immigrated to Canada and had two wonderful children, Robert and Michael who are a loving comfort to their father at this sad time.
She was predeceased by her father, Roger Nemorin, and four of her siblings, Mireille, Ivan, Marie-Noelle and Paul.
She is survived by her husband and sons, her mother Adele and siblings, Jacques, Georges and Marie-Claude as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Cremation has already taken place and there will be no ceremony at her request. Her ashes are to be interred in Canada and also in Australia, and Mauritius where family reside.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Jocelyn House or another charity of your choice would be appreciated.
