Marie Elizabeth Kennedy (nee Gaffney) of Erinsville, born August 11, 1923 died peacefully at Providence Manor, Kingston, September 19, 2017 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband Leonard Kennedy. Loving mother of the late Michael, late Thomas (Josee Beaudoin of Ottawa), Terry (Anne) of Kingston, Len (Laura) of Belleville, Marian of Arnprior, Lorrie Lunny (Rick) of Toronto, Gerard (Marilyn) of Belleville, Theresa Williams (Peter) of Ottawa, Mark (Jan) of Calgary and John (Sheila) of Toronto. Proud grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff on Sydenham 4 at Providence Manor in Kingston for their exceptional care. The family will receive friends at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME in Tamworth (613-379-2997) on Friday September 22, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial for Marie will be held on Saturday September 23rd at 11:00am at the Church of the Assumption in Erinsville, Ontario. Interment to follow at Assumption Parish Cemetery. Memorial donations made to L’Arche Arnprior, Church of the Assumption Building Fund or University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (UHKF) would be appreciated by the family.
