Obituary for Marie-Claire Aline Lachapelle (Lachapelle)
Lachapelle, Marie-Claire Aline – With sadness the family announces the death of Mrs Marie-Claire Lachapelle at the age of 82 years. Mrs Lachapelle passed away peacefully at Tri-Town Extendicare Nursing Home on Friday, September 29, 2017.
Predeceased by her parents: Ubald Lachapelle and Eugénie Labonté; her husbands Jean and Henri; her children Marie and Jules and by her siblings: Jean, Alphonse [Germaine] and Pierre [Cécile].
Sadly missed by her children: Diane [late Jean-Paul] Lachapelle of New Liskeard, Denise [Jean-Charles] Rhéaume of Rockland, Thérèse St-Amant of Ottawa, Camren [Hector] Chartrand of New Liskeard, Nicole [Henri] Laferrière of New LIskeard, Cécile St-Amant [Denis Gagnon] of Sherbrooke and Michel [Marie] St-Amant of Caledon. Fondly remembered by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and her siblings: Roland [late Thérèse] Lachapelle, Robert [Berthe] Lachapelle, Jules [Gertrude] Lachapelle, Paul [Suzanne] Lachapelle, Aline Lachapelle [Roland] and Jeanne Lachapelle.
In keeping with her wishes a memorial gathering will take place at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home at a date to be announced shortly. No flowers please. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society [cheques only] will be gratefully acknowledged. Condolences, contributions and memorial candles may be left at www.buffamleveille.com..
