Passed away peacefully on November 5, 2017. Loving wife of the late Vincent Shanahan (1990). Caring mother to Bernard, Harold (Kathy), Dan, and Mark. Dear grandma to Katelyn and Chelsea Butler (Mark). Sister to Cecile, Ernest “Nes”, and Margaret and predeceased by Rita, Louise, Armand “Buster”, Leo, and Paul “Picker”. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Marie Anne was a member of the CWL for many years. Visitation will be held at Marcotte Funeral Home, 12105 Tecumseh Rd East (519-735-2830) on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 2-5PM and 7-9PM. Parish prayers 7:30pm. Visitation will continute at St. Anne’s Church on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 10:30am until Funeral Mass at 11:30am. Interment to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery. If so desired, donations may be made to Charity of your Choice.
