Bairos, Maria Paiva … Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her
family at Innisfree House, Kitchener, on Thursday May 11, 2017 at the
age of 77. Loving and devoted wife of Manuel Morais. Cherished
mother of Jose Morais (Maria) and Ines Moreira (Bernardino). Proud
grandmother of Nelia Dovale (Leandro), Elizabeth Morais (Derek), Celia
Cullen (Chris), Kevin Moreira (Vanessa), Nancy Morais (Chris) and
great grandson Maxwell. Maria will also be sadly missed by her sister
Helena Sousa and brother Manuel Bairos, as well as her many nieces,
nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents
Bernardina and Bernardino Bairos, and her brothers Antonio, Jose and
Sarafim. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge,
where family and friends will be received on Monday May 15, 2017 from
6-9p.m. Rosary will be recited at 8p.m. Mass of Christian Burial
will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Elgin
St. S., Cambridge, on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at 11a.m. Interment will
follow at Parklawn Cemetery. Donations made to Innisfree House would
be greatly appreciated by the family. The family wishes to express a
special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Innisfree House for
the care and compassion during the past three months.
