LAMMERS, Maria “Riet” (nee VanZeyl)
On June 16th, 2017, in her 95th year, Maria “Riet” Lammers, our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother peacefully joined her husband Herman and her son John in heaven. Even though as family we are deeply saddened by our loss, we rejoice knowing she is celebrating, free from pain and suffering. Loving mother to Dirk & Brenda Lammers, Andy & MaryAnne Lammers, and Tim & Wilma Nicholls. Cherished grandmother to Amanda, Ben, Matt, Tom, Adam, Jennifer, Jason, Melissa, Katherine, and Bryan. Proud great-grandmother of Tyler and Zoey. Riet will be dearly missed by extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 616 Dundas Street East, Waterdown on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery, 1030 Greenwood Drive, Burlington on Wednesday, June 21 at 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the church on Wednesday, June 21 at 11:30 a.m. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to Shalom Manor would be greatly appreciated.
