Bathurst,
NB – Marguerite (Boucher) Vienneau, 96, formerly of Rough
Waters Drive, Bathurst, passed away peacefully on January, 20, 2017,
at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes,
Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late
Lorette Young and Eldon
Boucher.
Marguerite was a devout homemaker until moving to
the Manoir Brise de L’Oasis senior’s home in 2008. She was
loved and will be sadly missed by her whole family.
She is survived by one daughter, Julie (Jim) Dinan
of Miramichi; her daughter-in-law, Gabrielle (Burke) Vienneau; five
grandchildren, Lucy (Robert) Sewell of Pokemouche, Marc Vienneau (Lisa
Morrison) of Fredericton, Glen Vienneau of Bathurst, Jaime (Larry)
McGrath of Petawawa, Ontario, and Natalie (Shawn) MacDonald of Bay de
Vin and several great-grandchildren. One brother, Emanuel
Boucher of Sarnia, Ontario; two sisters, Connie (Jerry) Maynard of Red
Deer, Alberta, and Josephine (Abraham) Chamberlain of Bathurst and
several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by first
husband Oswald Vienneau in 1974 and by her second husband Harold
“Hank” Thomas Vienneau in 2010; one son, Eugene; two
great-grandchildren, Aaron and Daniel Vienneau; four brothers, Albert,
Gérald, Peter-Luc, and Wilfred Boucher; two sisters, Ella
Doucet, Rose Boucher and by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation at the Funeral
Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated on January, 24,
2017 2:00 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst,
with Father Gérald Croteau officiating. The Reading to be
done by her grandson Marc Vienneau and the Prayers of the Faithful by
her granddaughter Lucy Vienneau. Pallbearers are Marc Vienneau, Glen
Vienneau, Robert Sewell, James Dinan, Shaun MacDonald,
and Guy
Boucher.
