Obituary for Marguerite Marie Desjardins
Desjardins, Marguerite Marie – The family announces with sorrow the death of Ms Marguerite Desjardins at the age of 79 years. Ms Desjardins passed away peacefully at the Centre d’Hébergement Laurendeau, Montreal, Quebec on Monday December 11, 2017.
Born in Dupuy, Quebec on March 26, 1938 to the late Wilfrid Desjardins and to the late Antoinette Duhamel, Margot is predeceased by her siblings Julien Desjardins, Marcel Desjardins, Rita Vachon, Sister Anne-Marie Desjardins, Sister Cecile Desjardins, Marie-Claire Desjardins, Léo Desjardins, Roland Desjardins and Jean Paul Desjardins.
Fondly remembered by her siblings: Andre Desjardins, Jean Guy Desjardins, Raymond Desjardins, Clémence Desjardins, Agathe Desjardins, Thérèse Desjardins as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws and extended family members.
The Desjardins Family will receive family and friends at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home on Friday December 15, 2017 beginning at 9:00am. The funeral mass will follow at 11:00am at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Father Marcel Bruneau officiating. Interment will take place at the Haileybury Catholic Cemetery in the spring of 2018. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Temiskaming Hospital will be gratefully acknowledged.
