Marguerite Belle “Maggie” Patterson
(nee Tester)
With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Marguerite Patterson on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 87 years.
Marguerite was predeceased by her husband George Patterson, brother Robert Tester and parents Fred & Adele Tester.
She will be lovingly remembered by her longtime partner Roger Barrett of Portage la Prairie, MB, her children Keith McGowan of Edmonton, AB, Barry Patterson of Portage la Prairie, MB, Sherri Morden of New Brunswick and Larien (Blake) Vezey of Oakville, MB, and grandchildren Kiera, Chloe, and Justin along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A private interment will be held in the family plot at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Maggie’s memory to St. Mary’s la Prairie Anglican Church, 36-2nd St.SW, Portage la Prairie, MB, R1N 2A1, or to a charity of one’s choice.
