On Wednesday July 12, 2017 Margrit Burger of Edmonton, AB passed away at the age of 64 years.
Margrit is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Jerry; children Theresa and Matthew; brother Helmut; brother-in-law Art, and numerous relatives and friends. Margrit was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Emma Gatzke and sister Florence.
There will be a visitation on Thursday July 20, 2017 from 7:30pm – 9:00pm at Serenity Funeral Service 5311 91 Street NW, Edmonton, AB. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday July 21, 2017 at Central Baptist Church, 9419 95 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta. Interment to follow at South Haven Cemetery.
Donations in Margrit’s memory may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute. albertacancer.ca/cross-cancer-institute 11560 University Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2.
