Margery passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home for the Aged in Brussels on Sunday, July 9, 2017. Born in Clinton on April 26, 1936, Margery Ann (née Webster) Huether, formerly of Seaforth and Walton, was in her 82nd year.
Beloved wife of the late Ray Huether (1993). Loving mother of Steve and his wife Kathy of Londesborough and John and his wife Lisa of Walton. Cherished Grandma of Matthew, Ray, Kenny, Kennedy and Kaden. Dear sister of Nancy Holmes (Jack) of Clinton, Mac Webster (Janet) of Bayfield, and sister-in-law of Alice Searle of Goderich and Ruth McCarter of Brussels.
Predeceased by her husband Ray, parents Watson and Ruby (née Taylor) Webster, and siblings-in-law Mary Saunders (Gordon), Harold Huether, Ronald Huether, Gerald McCarter and Allan Searle.
Margery began her life in Varna and grew up enjoying music. Started her career in the teaching profession until she met her husband Ray and moved to Walton. Their life together included farming, teaching, music, travelling, family and community involvement.
Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Wednesday, July 12th from 7-9 p.m. and will continue on Thursday, July 13th from 10 a.m. until the time of Margery’s funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Brussels Cemetery followed by a reception at the Brussels Legion, Branch 218.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Brussels Legion or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home. Online condolences and donations can be made by visiting Margery’s memorial at www.mcglynnfamilyfuneralhome.com
