Green, Margaret Ann
1935-2017
Ann Green died unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, September 9, 2017. Ann was the beloved wife of the late Alan Green. She raised a family of three sons: Douglas (the late Marguerite) of Ottawa, David (Susan) of Vancouver and Andrew (Linda) of Toronto. She deeply loved and was loved by her grandchildren Isaac and the late Sarah, Nicholas and Katie, Sam and Abby. She had a tremendous capacity to form and nurture relationships and her great resiliency supported us all in difficult times. The family will receive friends and family at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 Counter Boulevard, Kingston between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2017. Funeral Service at St. George’s Cathedral (corner of King and Johnson Streets), Kingston, at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2017. A reception will follow at The University Club at Queen’s (168 Stuart Street, Kingston). As an expression of sympathy, contributions may be made to the Sanctuary Refugee Health Centre (www.sanctuaryrefugee.ca/donate.html) or UHKF (Complex Care at Providence Care), in Ann’s memory.
