Dover, Margaret( Reta): October 22, 1924 – November 29, 2017 – Beloved wife for 67 years of the late Thomas Dover (June 16, 2011) passed away at Norview Lodge in Simcoe. Reta was born in Toronto with St. Catharines the family home for 59 years, 17 of which were with friends at Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village. Reta is survived by sons Jim (Mie), John (Kay), brother Bob Russell (Betty), and grandchildren Jennifer Bishop (Kevin), Maria Christensen (Kaare), Lene Dover (Jimmi), Erik Dover (Jen) and great grandchildren, Deagan, Vaughn, Viggo, Felix, Odin, Liva, Karma, Cyrus and Kane. Reta will be missed dearly by relatives Chris Russell (Arlene), Jo-Anne Dover, Dianne Yungblut (Morley), Beth Conroy (Red), Tom Russell (Barb), Sandra Murphy (Chuck) and friends. Family and friends will be invited, at a date to be determined, to attend Reta’s entombment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill with husband, Tom, reunited for eternity. A special thanks to all staff and volunteers at Hospice Niagara in St. Catharines and Norview Lodge in Simcoe who made Mom’s final days comfortable. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund ( charities.thestar.com/santaclausfund/ ) would be appreciated. On line condolences may be made at www.butlerniagara.ca
