Margaret Peggy Rose Taylor – 2017

Margaret “Peggy” Rose Taylor
Margaret “Peggy” R. Taylor, 76, of Moncton, passed
away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital
Centre, with her loving family at her side, on Thursday, July 13,
2017. Born in Thomson, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late
Reginald and Merle (Mahoney) Lebans.
Peggy was a former employee of MacArthur’s
Nurseries Inc. She was a faithful and devoted member of St.
Philip’s Anglican Church, where she was a Sunday School
teacher for many years. Peggy volunteered at Spencer Memorial Home,
the Karing Kitchen and the Beaverbrook School Breakfast program. She
bowled for over 50 years with the Domestic Engineers League and
enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Peggy will be sadly missed by her children, Kim Tatlock
(Roger) of Wolfville, NS, Lance Hayward (Shawn) of Bedford, NS, James
Hayward (Cathy) of Moncton, Darin Hayward of Havelock and Adam Hayward
(Alice) of Wolfville, NS; stepsons, Graham A. Taylor and Michael P.
Taylor (Maria), both of Gibsons, BC; grandchildren, Jessica Tatlock,
Dillon Tatlock and Justine Hayward; great grandson, Landon Kelloway;
brothers and sisters, Reginald Lebans (Cecile) of Moncton, Jackie
Holtom (Larry) of Mount Forest, ON, Faye Rammage (Peter) of Yoho,
Richard Lebans (Maura) of Grand Bend, ON, Terry Voth (Rick) of Vernon,
BC, John Lebans (Cathy) of Pointe du Chene, Pam Coughlan (John) of
Riverview, Paul Lebans (Suzanne) of Dartmouth, NS and Peter
Lebans (Krista) of Shediac Cape; sister-in-law, Irene Lebans and many
nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband, Alan Taylor (December 2016); infant daughter, Jacklyn and
brother, Don.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A
Service to celebrate and honour Peggy’s life will be held at
St. Philip’s Anglican Church, 36 Lynch St., Moncton, on
Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 1:00 pm, with The Rev’d Roderick
Black and The Rev’d Douglas Painter presiding. Reception
following the service in the church hall.
