Peacefully, Saturday, January 28, 2017, in her sleep, at Granite Ridge Care Community in Stittsville, Ontario, at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late James Patrick “Seamus” Gallivan. Loving mother of Gerald Gallivan (Lise) and Peggy Gallivan (Armando Ballotta). Cherished grandmother of Ted Gallivan (Heather Daniels), Christine Gallivan (Glenn Coffey), Scott MacRae (Sheila Rogers), Ross MacRae (Michelle), Kristen MacRae (Eric Poirier) and Michael MacRae (Tanya) and great-grandmother of Brandon, Aidan, Nicholas, Thalia, Madison, Michaela, Isabella, Jakob, Grace, Julien and Emma. Predeceased by her siblings Orville Watson (late Marie), Dorothy George (late Jack), Joan Watson and nephew Peter George. Will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and dear friend Margaret Bonner. The family is especially grateful for the loving care and support provided by her staff at Granite Ridge. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday, February 2, 2017 to Holy Redeemer Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Cremation with burial of urn in Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date.
