Margaret Eviline Slesser (née Walsh) of Kincardine, passed away Trillium Court, Kincardine, on Friday, April 14, 2017, in her 93rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Harold Bannerman (1970) and William Slesser (1999).
Loving mother of Larry Bannerman of Kincardine, Don (Marilyn Wadge) Bannerman of Kincardine, Dianne Bannerman (Jeff Hubbell) of Barrie, and step-mother of Lois Hackett (Roy Elliott) of Ripley, Karen (Bill) Fry of Goderich and Dr. Ruth Slesser of Kansas.
Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Daughter of the late William and Sarah (née Scott) Walsh.
Remembered by daughter-in-law Denise Bannerman-Miller.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her son David Bannerman, brother Jim Walsh, sisters Mary Davey, Beth Avis, Grace McTeer, daughters-in-law Kathy and Janet Bannerman
Visitation will held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 7 – 9 p.m.. The funeral service will take place in the Davey- Linklater Chapel on Thursday, April 20 at 11:00 a.m..
Interment, Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow.
Memorial donations to the Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary or Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society of Canada would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
