Peacefully, surrounded by her family at The Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg after a courageous battle with Lung disease on Thursday December 15th, 2016 in her 70th year. Beloved wife of Al Grundy for 50 years. Loving mother of Keeley Greeno (Dan) of North Carolina, Tammy Crook-Grundy (Stephen Burns), Brad Grundy (Kim), Brenda Whitehead (Tim) and Trevor Grundy (Marcia). Dear Gramma and Baw of Kendal, Xander, Kole, Ben, Abigail, Allyn, Graeme, Brent, Madison, Gavin and Great Gramma of Nima. Margaret is survived by her beloved step-mother Margaret Fenton and 11 brothers & sisters. Predeceased by her parents Charles Fenton and Shirley Hornsby. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Margaret and Al moved to Cobourg with their family in the early 80’s from London. Marg became well known and active in the community. She was a 2 time President of the Cobourg Lioness Club and the Past President of the Cobourg Lions Club. Friends are invited to call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home on Tuesday December 20th from 6-9 pm. and Wednesday December 21st, from 12 noon – 1 pm., followed by a Memorial Service at 1 pm.
