It is with heavy hearts that the family of Margaret Alice Landry (Rockdale) announce her passing on Saturday October 28, 2017 at Saint Vincent Nursing Home. Margaret was 90 years young when she passed peacefully, following many months of suffering after falling and breaking her hip. Thank you to the staff of Saint Vincent’s who attended to her needs and made her comfortable in her time left with us. She was well known for her Knitting, Sewing and crafts. She spent many hours working in her beautiful gardens over the years. She was born in Halifax to the late William (Bill) and Alice Sampson. Margaret will be forever in our hearts and sadly missed by her two daughters, Sharon and Kathleen (Wayne Bona) two Grandson’s Brandon and John (Melina) and one great granddaughter Shelby; her sisters Irene and Ruby and her brother Clarence and all her friends and family. She will join her late husband Henry Isadore, her sisters, Sister Helen, and Mary her twin brother William (Buckey), and brothers Robert (Bobby) Almon, Freddy, and Douglas in heaven. There is no visitation by request, Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 4th at 10:30am from Holy Guardian Angels Parish in L’Ardoise, Richmond Co. N.S. With Father Antolin Asor officiating. Burial to follow in the Parish cemetery. Donations can be made in her name to the Richmond Villa Activity Fund that she supported for many years. Arrangements are under the direction of Green’s Funeral Home, 507 Bernard St. Port Hawkesbury
