Maretta Agnes Litchfield, (nee Gillett), of Raymond, Alberta, beloved wife of Dean Litchfield, passed away peacefully at Raymond Health Care Centre at 12:18 PM on November 2, 2017, at the age of 81 years.
Daughter of Elenora and George Gillett.
Loving mother of: Michael (Janet) Rusel of Surrey, BC, Darcy Rusel of Kaysville, Utah
Laurey (David) Olsen of Kaysville, Utah, Alexander (Brenda) Rusel of Edmonton, AB
Rebecca Williams (Steve) of Edmonton, AB
She was predeceased by her loving daughter Tamera (Conrad) Heninger of Cochrane, AB.
She also has 33 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She is also survived by her Brother Jim (Sharon) Gillett and her sisters Sonja Perez and Betty (Drue) Pitcher.
Maretta’s love for her children and faith in the LDS church was very important to her. She had a passion for painting and a great love for friends and life.
She will be missed by all.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life and Remembrance on Thursday November 9, 2017 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, and for the service on Friday November 10, 2017 at 10:00 am at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS GARDEN PLACE CHAPEL, 170 North Centre Street, Magrath, AB.
