Born October 1st, 1931 in Britelo, Portugal and passed away peacefully on December 31st, 2016 in Ottawa. Beloved husband of Pureza. Loving father of the late Antonio (the late Maria Augusta) and of Goreti Alves (Manuel Agostinho), Jorge (Lyne Larose), Manuela (David Graham) and Christine Suarez. Grandfather of Raquel, Lillian, Justin, Roberto, Corey, Luka and great-grandfather of Ari, Lennan and Aveen. Family and friends may gather at St Bernard Parish, 170 St Bernard Street, on Monday, January 9th, 2017 for Mass of Christian funeral at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to CHEO or the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
